Helps get the links from any RSS feed indexed – fast!

Get Maximum Use From Trackback Rss Feed

When you use a program like UAW to send out articles you will get 100′s if not thousands of links back to your site, this is a great thing!

Sadly not all of the pages which have your articles on will get indexed, this is where we come in. By adding the trackback feed plugin to your WordPress sites (it is a free bonus with the indexing tool) you have a ready to use rss feed with all the trackbacks to your site.

RSS feeds are wonderful things, they can be used in so many ways that it makes your head spin. One of the ways to use the RSS feed is by adding it into the Indexing plugin. This will help get them indexed, but is there anything else you can do to help indexing?

Of course there is, and you know what I whole heatedly recommend that you do all you can to get the trackbacks indexed. When those pages get indexed it is like having a extra link to your site and the best bit is that you didn’t have to write any more content or do any heavy lifting to get that link.

One way to get them indexed is by submitting the rss feed to the rss aggregator sites, this is only one way and I will be sharing more ways with you over the next week or so.

Thanks for watching the video. The program I use in the video can be found at RSS BOT

While I recommend using software for many tasks, and remember you can use rssbot to submit rss feeds from your sites as well as the trackback rss feed, you can do it manually if money is tight.

Thanks go out to Daniel McGonagle for this list, he has a more extensive list on his site but these will get you started.

So all you do is take your trackback feed and submit it to as many rss directories as you can. While it may seem strange to be helping other people get their pages indexed, remember this helps you get more links!

Still to come, twitter and more!

Auto Update Of RSS Feeds

We are committed to the ongoing development of the Indexing Plugin and the bonus Trackback plugin. The latest update (which is in the members area already and I have already emailed present owners) allows for auto updating of any rss feeds you enter into the indexing tool.

What does this mean in plain English?

Well it means that if you enter your ezine articles feed (or any other feed) and then go and add more articles to your ezine author account the indexing plugin will find them and include them in the list of links to be shown.

If they are already indexed, no problem, if they aren’t indexed then a link to them will be displayed until they are.

It checks twice a day so you can spend your time writing articles (or getting outsourcers to do it) rather than having to keep on updating your rss feeds.

Indexing tool

Welcome to the blog for the Indexing Tool!

I have to say I’m very excited about the launch of this site, or rather the release of this WordPress plugin.. I’ve written quite a few plugins but this one has turned out to be incredibly useful and a whole lot of fun!

Just in case I haven’t explained it very well on the front page, what this plugin does is take an RSS feed URL (any one, it doesn’t matter) and then it checks each item in the feed to see if it’s indexed in Google. That’s all well and good I hear you say, but then if one of the pages from the RSS feed isn’t indexed, the plugin displays a link to that page on your blog.

And not only that, as soon as it detects the page has been indexed, the plugin will automatically remove the link from your blog, and replace it with another link to an un-indexed page!

I’ve released the plugin to a few people and they have been getting amazing results. You can see some of their testimonials on the front page. Read more about Indexing tool →
